Sleeping with a partner: a false good idea.
50% of respondents revealed they sleep with another adult almost every night. 77% of these do so by choice. However, 41% of respondents sleep alone for greater comfort or because their schedules and those of their partners are incompatible.
While 49% of people who sleep with someone find it reassuring, specialists consider it a contributing factor to sleep disturbances. Several factors disrupt the sleep cycle of one or both sleepers. First, a person moves at least 60 times a night, which forces the co-sleeper to move as well, even if it doesn't bother them. Second, snoring or noisy breathing can be a nuisance. Not to mention that nearly a third of French people snore. Finally, add to all this body temperature, nighttime movements, the other person's sleep patterns, the size of the bed, and many other factors.
