Sleep: sleeping with someone is bad

Professor Pierre Philip, head of the Neuro-Psycho-Pharmacological platform at the Bordeaux University Hospital, indicates that "sleep debt" is detrimental to the body. It weakens the body and disrupts energy metabolism. This, in turn, increases the risk of obesity and type 2 diabetes by impairing insulin resistance. "Sleep debt" can also lead to high blood pressure, heart disease, inflammatory diseases, and mood disorders. It also weakens the immune system, thus exacerbating health problems associated with chronic illnesses such as respiratory diseases.

According to some authors, co-sleeping is another cause of sleep deprivation.
