Step 4: Create the right microclimate
Cover the parsley loosely with a freezer bag or food-safe plastic bag. Secure it around the jar with an elastic band.
Here’s the key detail many people miss:
👉 Cut tiny slits on the sides of the bag.
This allows minimal air circulation, preventing condensation while keeping the humidity balanced.
Step 5: Refrigerate smartly
Place the jar in the refrigerator, preferably in the door or a stable-temperature area. Change the water every 3–4 days.
